    The Ban Bossy campaign is in theory a big step towards equality, but what I realized after studying Sandberg's point of view , is that there are other aspects of feminism that this campaign can be in excess of. That being said, I do not agree that authority will put an end to the leadership and assertiveness qualities of a woman or girl; it may simply quell a situation in which an individual asserts their own beliefs and opinions over others in a dominant manner. What I take issue with in Sandberg's campaign is my disagreement that the word authoritarian is not as nasty and upsetting as it is portrayed, and that drawing attention to the word may cause more problems than it solves. To fully understand this conflict, it is useful to see Ban Bossy's argument and this argument is as follows:1. Women should benefit from equal treatment and equal opportunities2. Women who assert themselves and take leadership roles are labeled as bossy.3. Bossy is a term most often used to describe a woman4. Authority is demeaning and prevents women from realizing their true leadership potential.5. Therefore, we should ban the word bossy to enable women to realize their true potential. This argument is valid, but it is far from strong. Yes, I agree that if these premises were true, we should seriously consider banning this word for the sake of women everywhere. The fact is that these premises are not sound and this is where we run into problems. It is clear that the first premise is undeniably true, premises two and three are also true to some extent. I say to an existent because of the second premise. Indeed, authoritarian describes someone who imposes rules, opinions or actions on someone else.
