  • Essay / Architecture Careerbound - 1749

Career BoundI've always been interested in fixing things and trying to make them better; Even when I was a kid, helping my dad with construction projects was so much fun. It was my father who passed on to me the craft and the ease of trying to get around certain problems. I may not have always made the right choices in the field, but I found myself very interested in this work. Yes, some days I probably didn't feel like getting out of bed to work on carpentry or painting, but I really enjoy restoring, bringing structures back to life, and even building new ones from scratch. Of course, I haven't built a house on my own and I don't have all the knowledge and experience to do so, but I have worked at many stages of house building and in different areas of work during the process and I love it. I'm very involved in the field but I hope to one day be able to lead and use my brain and ideas for that, I guess that's my American dream; become a very good and famous architect and house builder. I would love to render my services as a professional designer and planner of new homes, rebuilds, monitoring and coordinating my team of builders! I would really appreciate this reputation, and hope to become well enough to hold jobs in government and around the world. I believe that architecture is what fits my career profile because I like to put everything into perspective in an example drawing to determine what the final product will look like! I have a good imagination and I try to analyze surrounding structures; I am also very observant and creative, which should help me in this career. By adding a little imagination to our ideas, we can create extravagant and beautiful designs to our liking; ...... middle of paper ...... and this research paper definitely helped reassure my goal.
