They also agreed that regardless of age, internet and computer skills are essential to function in society. Without appropriate intervention, the digital divide (or technological segregation) will become even more of a societal problem. Young people from low-income backgrounds will fall far behind our peers, making it more difficult for them to achieve their goals and progress in education.
