Although the Romans copied many aspects of Greek culture, they also made distinct contributions. Greece and Rome also made enormous contributions to our civilization through art and architecture. The Greeks invented the column and the Romans took these Greek characteristics with some of their own, such as a new concept of strong concrete, a dome and arches and created wonderful structures. The Roman and Greek gods appear to be related to each other. A similarity between the two mythologies is that the symbols and designations of the powers are the same. The differences are present in the date of creation. Additionally, for both mythologies, we do not know where and how they were created because there is more than one story that describes their beginning. The sculptures are more creative in Greek than in Roman. Thus, the Romans followed some fundamental ideas from Greek and the Greeks and Romans share a wide distribution in the history of
