1.1 INTRODUCTIONThis project is about the running shoe study for world class championships. Firstly, the running shoe is particularly used for long and short distance running on hard and/or uneven paths, streets or the like. The most famous shoe producers and brands for producing world championship shoes are Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Puma, Converse, New balance, Fila, K-Swiss, Asics and others. All these brands are competing to produce the best and latest shoes in order to retain customers. Each shoe has three different soles which are sometimes made of different materials to satisfy customers. Of course, each material has its own function. The most important parts of running shoes are the upper part of the shoe, the insole, the midsole and the outsole. According to Kenneth W. Graham, Edward J. Norton, and Shuhei Kurata (1985), the sole-supported stabilizer surrounds the upper in the heel region to provide support for the shoe upper. Armin A. Dassler (1983) stated that with a shock-absorbing outsole, a soft and resilient material, the drive side of which consists of a profile of wear-resistant material, with certain areas of the outsole being more flexible than other areas of the sole. Armin A. Dassler (1983) also stated that the character that the regions of the outsole have different flexibility only at the heel and possibly also at the joint are present, the arrangement being such that the heel and possibly the joint articulation region with less flexibility inside the outsole begins and extends to the maximum by the longitudinal axis of the sole extending the central plane of the running sole. So the materials and features that are important in this project will be sorted for each ...... middle of paper ...... ts. These running shoe manufacturing processes are supposed to be in order. Originally, shoes were made by hand. but then traditional artisan shoemaking was largely replaced in terms of volume of shoes produced by industrial mass production of shoes, but not necessarily in terms of quality, attention to detail, or craftsmanship. So, in this project, the technologies used to make the running shoes will be discussed. The design of the upper and sole attempts to maximize the factors of durability, stability and flexibility while keeping the weight as light as possible. According to Ronald C. Yonkers (1982), this is achieved by relating the structural design of the outsole to a load analysis at the interface between the sole and the ground during running. In this project we will discuss all possible ways to overcome problems and achieve goals..
