.Breed specific legislation is a much needed thing (change the wording…..policy needed, etc.) in today's society because there are so many vicious dogs who run around and then these dogs attack people....turn into commas without provocation. Pitbulls (capitalize) or "Bully Breeds" have caused so much trouble in the United States for many years (delete). As one official said in the documentary "American Pit-Bull: Killer Canine or Family Friend," "Pitbulls (capitalized) have about (no need for about and about, both are essentially the same word) 3 000 pounds per square inch bite pressure”. These dogs also have a locking jaw. If a "pit bull" attacked a child, that dog's jaw would lock and not let go of the child until someone was strong enough to save him. The percentage of pit bull attacks has consistently topped the charts since these killer dogs became a huge problem. It has been made clear recently that the largest and most powerful races have absolutely no purpose or place in a crowded urban environment. Cities are not allowed to regulate these “pit bull” dogs in any way unless the regulation or law applies to all dog breeds. You may find it very surprising that it is illegal to own a goat or a chicken in a huge, crowded city, and that it is perfectly legal to own a man-eating dog. Many dangerous dog laws exist to protect the public from these vicious and killer dogs. On dogbitelaw.com (full site….www.dogbitelaw.com, etc.) it states that a ““dangerous dog law” is a law that states what conduct a dog and its owner should be illegal (including things like dog off leash, trespassing, or running loose), establishes consequences for the dog and its owner, and provides...... middle of paper ..... .and killed. If these dogs were banned from society, there would no longer be any sort of dog-related human mortality. If senators or even congressmen heard the statistics on dog killings of which these dogs make up a large portion, then perhaps they would be more likely to pass a law that would eventually ban this breed of dog. We need to get to states or general areas where this dog breed is more popular before more people die or are injured by these dogs. Overall, nothing (why is that capitalized?) can be done to change these dogs so that they are no longer around. more dangerous. After several centuries of breeding, these dogs will always have some sort of aggression, no matter what. These dogs will always be dangerous, no one can change them and they will just continue to attack people and animals and then cause deaths that could have been avoided..
