Essay / Understanding Computer Hardware and Working of Input Devices
IntroductionIn this high-tech generation, Information Technology (IT) had become very important for every human being in this world. As information technology and information systems are also very important for business, so we need to learn computer science. But to become a computer genius, you need to know how to access information using a computer. After this conference, I learned that computer science is not as simple as I thought. I also learn different types of computer components which are very important to access the computer. This lecture also gives information about what is an input, what are input devices and what is the importance of input devices. After this lecture on computer hardware, I feel like I have overlooked the most important thing about understanding computer hardware and how an input device works. What is a computer? A computer is an electronic device, operating under the control of instructions stored in its own memory. The computer can accept and process the data accordingly, then produce and save the results for future use (Gary B. Shellly 2012). In short, a computer is a device used to process information. Using a computer, raw data or facts (input) can be transformed into useful information (output). A computer contains hardware and software. These two components are very important for the operation of a computer. Basically, hardware refers to the electronic and mechanical components of a computer. Software which also refers to a program used to operate a computer. Let's focus on the hardware. HardwareLike what I just said, hardware consists of the electronic and mechanical components of the computer. Without hardware, a computer cannot function properly. An example of these components is the input device, output devices, storage device, communication devices, and a system unit (Gary B. Shellly 2012). Hardware is important for data processing in the computer. What is entry? Input is all data and instructions entered into a computer's memory (Gary B. Shellly 2012). a computer (Gary B. Shellly 2012). The input device is a peripheral. Peripherals mean that components are located outside the main unit of the computer system (Kenneth C. Laudon 2009). Some examples of input devices are keyboard, computer mouse, scanner, etc. KeyboardThe keyboard is an input device. It contains the keys that users press to enter data and instructions into the computer (Gary B..
