    When entering into a serious conversation with another person, it is important to know the facts about what you are going to talk about. The presentation should be clear, but not offensive, so that it is still possible to get the message across. It's important to also take the time to explain what you're talking about... This way you can be sure the other party understands. In some cases, however, it is difficult to make other people understand the point you want to make to them: those who have already learned something, and who have studied and practiced it for several years, are usually stuck in their preconceptions . In the case of testifying to a Jehovah's Witness, the Christian explaining biblical truth must be sound in his studies and knowledge of the Scriptures. Several steps must be taken to have an effective testimony. First, let's take a look at some beliefs of a Jehovah's Witness. A Jehovah's Witness does not believe that Jesus is Jehovah God. He or she believes that Jesus was the first thing Jehovah created (Martin). A Jehovah's Witness believes that Jesus is "Archangel Michael", who was the brother of Satan (Lewis). He or she also does not believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus – he or she believes that he was “raised from the dead, not with a physical body, but as a powerful spiritual creature” (Martin). However, if Jehovah God had created Jesus first, and Jesus, or in the eyes of Jehovah's Witnesses, Michael, had created all other things, that would make Jesus the father of Satan, not the brother of Satan.
