Colombia is a country that is still striving to establish itself as a country of wealth, peace and political power in South America. Colombia itself is located in a very important part of the world and has two sea coasts that border the country to the north and west. This alone makes it accessible to everyone in the world, making Colombia one of the most conflict-ridden countries in South America. Its geography is remarkable from its seaside to its mountains in the south, and its tropical forest in the southeast of this country, make Colombia a beautiful place to visit. His political ambitions and continued search for freedom keep Colombians optimistic and willing to embrace change. The people of the Colombian country have long settled in the country well before the arrival of the Spanish. In 1510, the Spanish founded the first permanent European colony on the American continent. Later, in 1538, they founded the colony of New Granada which included the following countries: Panama, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador. These counties have formed this region for over 300 years. During this period, there was a 14-year struggle that led to independence in 1824. At that time, Colombia was part of the Great Republic of Colombia until 1830.
