In Islam, scripture is considered the word of God and therefore attributed to the divine, while Buddhist scripture consists of the actual words of the Buddha and attributed to its human authors. Buddhism has adapted well throughout its history to a new environment, which has allowed this religion to flourish. Like Islam, this religion is practiced all over the world today. There are daily rituals that all Muslims must follow according to the five pillars of faith. The Quran in its original language has not changed since the scripture was written and is just as important and valuable to those who follow this religion today as it was when it was created. Islam and Buddhism are very involved religions. Their followers strongly believe in the teachings and stories provided in the scriptures. They are devoted and committed to the words of the scriptures, and this is seen in the daily practice of religions..
