Player salaries have increased by leaps and bounds and all teams as a whole generate billions in revenue every year. My interest or role in this organization is of course; simply that of a fan of basketball and the league itself. I have been a fan since I was a child and ever since I could understand the sport. My love for the sport grew even stronger when I became old enough to play myself. As a fan, I would like to better understand some of the factors that make the league such a popular sport and also explore some of the issues that affect the popularity of the league and create negativity. Some of the main issues I think are facing today's league are the competitiveness of the teams, the attitudes of the staff including players, coaches, owners and management, as well as certain rules of the league.
