    Tattoos are accepted in many cultures, they date back to early Egypt, mummies have been found with marks to take them to the afterlife safely. The oldest known tattoos were discovered on a mummified body discovered in the Alps in 1991. It was over 5,000 years old. Throughout history, tattoos have been symbols of religion, affiliation, social status, and self-expression. Nowadays, tattoos have changed. They are rather intended for decoration of our body. The current decoration of the skin shows that society has lost the capacity for unconscious creativity and change. Additionally, tattooing is something more complex, as human beings we have the potential to express ourselves and extend it to something different and newer. The tattoo therefore plays the role of expressing all these values, beliefs and dreams which triangulate “where we are”. According to a survey, 24% of Americans aged 18 to 50 have at least one tattoo. You no longer have to be a soldier, ex-convict or part of a circus show to join this current trend. Among the tattooed are students, kindergarten teachers, graphic designers, baristas and even doctors. We thus arrive at the major issue of discrimination against people with tattoos in the workplace. Tattoos in the workplace do not affect work abilities; They bring diversity to the workplace and bring more creativity to employees who can express their individuality through tattooing. We live in a democratic society where the laws regarding tattoos are clear. Therefore, employers should not fire or not hire people because of their scarred bodies. Employers need to open their minds to the distinction of many talented young potential employees with tattoos. However, I am not talking about extreme tattooing which is a...... middle of paper...... the particular character that distinguishes a person from others; like those of tattoos. Tattoos have become a whole subculture in today's society. In tattoo culture, creativity is the central value. Tattoos are one of the many ways individuality can appear in a person's personality. Individuality is self-expression in which more creativity is proven to be produced. Creativity is very important in the workplace. Creativity brings unique solutions to the market by keeping the minds of employees active. Providing a place where creativity can flourish is a way to coordinate with members of different cultures to implement new ideas. The creativity of this dynamic subculture brings innovation to the workplace and significantly increases prodactivity when people from all cultures combine their talents toward a specific goal..
