    This proves the possibility of becoming something from nothing. Although the Wall children did not lead a glamorous life, it was rarely boring. Rex and Rose Mary are continually on the edge of care and chaos, putting their children in situations that children should not be in and giving them a childhood from which they must recover. As unfortunate as it may seem, these moments are what shaped the Walls children into who they are today, just as everyone's childhood plays a role in who they become. The desperation in their lives was a driving factor, something that essentially forced them to succeed.
