Humans grow and develop simultaneously in the physical, cognitive, psychological, moral, and spiritual dimensions, with each dimension being an essential part of the whole person. This developmental stage is rewarding to watch as a parent, but can also be very difficult. At this stage of development, children learn a lot and try to be independent. Children reach important milestones and parents wonder if they are raising their children correctly or disciplining them the way they should be. I chose this stage of development because it is the stage that most relates to my life right now, as two of my children have just graduated from this stage and I still have one child at this stage .
