  • Essay / Essay on Nuclear Weapons - 961

The world and its inhabitants are witnesses of very painful misfortunes which have gripped the biosphere and its inhabitants for several years. Nuclear weapons are the weapons that have transported humans, from World War II to the present day, into a world of peace and security. Nuclear weapons pose a threat to the world and its beings, who play a considerable role in the improvement and development of life on earth. The story of the proliferation of nuclear weapons begins with the tense political situation between the United States of America and socialist Russia, recognized in world literature as the Cold War. Under the influence of nuclear weapons, the global economy would risk a financial debt crisis, economic collapse, and problems in oil production and the global market (Katz 1). There is no doubt that the development of nuclear weapons or their explosion will not only change the borders between states, but also lead to global economic collapse..
