In fact, Winston Churchill made many significant contributions and overcame great obstacles that led him to become a hero and receive many honors during his life. Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill was born on November 30, 1874 at Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire to an aristocratic family. family. He came from a long line of English aristocratic politicians. His father was a Briton named Lord Randolph Churchill, the seventh Duke of Marlborough, and his mother Jennie Jerome, an American. They gave Winston a legacy in the United States and Britain. Both of Churchill's parents were very busy people. Therefore, Winston's mother hired a nanny named Elizabeth Everest in which Winston later viewed her as a motherly figure since she always took care of him as a child. On the other hand, as a child, Churchill was sometimes rebellious and often got into trouble. He also wasn't very good academically in school. So he probably received a few beatings from his teachers. He attended boarding school at the age of 8. He later attended Harrow, a private school, in 1888, aged 14. It took him about 3 attempts to pass the British military academy entrance exam, but he eventually enrolled at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 1893.
