I believe that everyone should be able to do what they want without people judging them based on their sex or gender. Everyone should be treated the same, whether you are a woman or a man, it doesn't matter. Growing up in my family, we were all seen the same way, no matter if we were female or male. In this chapter on sex and gender, it again shows us that no matter what, women are still not seen the same way or paid as much as men. I disagree with this because women are capable of doing what men do and they should be paid as much as they are. In our society, however, many families still believe that men should be the ones who work and should be the men of the house and that women should stay at home and be housewives. I don't agree with this at all because it's not true and little by little, women work and are perceived differently. Ultimately, I hope that women will be seen and treated equally in the workplace and will be paid as much as possible.
