Essay / Life Goals - Personal Story - 330
Life Goals - Personal Story High school is a very important time in a person's life. It's time to set goals. We not only set goals, but also look for solutions. My first goal, in no particular order, is to become a good athlete. My next goal is to be a good student and graduate from high school, with a 3.0 GPA. There is one final objective, but I'll save it for later. My goals are simple, but not that easy to achieve. Athletics are a lot of fun and can contribute to another goal in life. Sports may be fun, but you have to work hard to become good at it. There is a chance that one day I could get a scholarship to college, although I haven't picked a sport yet, I should have one by the end of the year. Sports take time, and at times it's hard and can be a burden, but in the end it's worth it. Becoming an athlete is a goal of mine, but there are bigger goals and the next one is next. Having only sports and no education would be like owning a car, but without an engine inside. I want this engine, so I have to study and maintain a high GPA. I could accomplish this by doing all my work (I'm working on it right now). Also, not only am I doing my job, but also on time and as cleanly as possible (I'm also working on these two at the moment). My goal can also be achieved by paying attention in class (there are many things to learn that school teaches us) and trying to listen more and talk less. All of this adds up to a great recipe for getting at least a 3.0 GPA. Have you ever needed to use a combination lock? If you know there are three numbers, well, the combination of my success in life is first education, then athletics, and last but not least, a four-year college education. This is the perfect goal in life, besides that, my other two goals fit perfectly into this category. Sports can help me get an athletic scholarship that could make my parents happier, at least financially. The next education goals, you can't get an athletic scholarship if you don't have the grades.
