    The choices you choose to use depend on a number of factors, including the current unemployment rate, the field and demographics you want to hire from, and whether you hire internally or externally. It is often considered the most effective way to recruit externally, as not only will the candidates be loyal to the organization, but they are likely to fit in well with the organization, as the current would not recommend someone which did not correspond to the organization.
