I learned a lot of things during this course: how to write a good essay, how to master some essays that I have already written in the past. I learned to locate my resources to find every error in my writing. I use the library more and of course the most obvious is the manual. I mainly use the book to learn how to cite research and other mistakes I've made. After reflection, I can say that this course was fun and I would recommend it to anyone. Say no to plagiarism. Most schools around here require you to take an English class because it's useful and something you'll have to overcome at a higher level school. This English course really prepared me for future tasks, because as an athlete we have to read materials written by others. This means that I will have to write letters of recommendation if I want to get a job and you would like it to be as perfect as possible. It is necessary to be able to write reports for my future profession that I have chosen to pursue. The writing skills I learned during my two years here at the University of Alabama will be used throughout my college years and employment. Many say that you won't even use what you learned after college, but in some cases, you will need your teaching mindset to accomplish a task that you need to complete. My teacher taught me things I had never learned before. Well, really, but he taught them better so I could understand English writing better. I broke it all down for the class and quickly figured it out and it surprised me. He dedicated himself to teaching us the formula of writing. Many hands went up to ask questions, which shows that we are learning something new. I would love to read some of his work if it is available to see how great he is. Another reason he made writing fun was the pass papers were horrible and he made us read them. We all went from terrible to great. I want to be well educated and intelligent in all my lessons in this English course. Writing a Research Paper Of all the things I've learned so far, none of them have been more difficult than trying to write a research paper. I hated doing them in high school. It's one of my weaknesses. You have to gather so much information on a topic given to you, which makes it difficult. My classmates and I would meet in the library to work on the paper together. They were very helpful on every part I needed. We actually did a lot of things and for the first time I saw how to write and put together a research paper. All my previous articles were not good at all. In fact, I would even recommend someone reread them because it would be a waste of time. Knowing what I know now about research papers; I could have been so excellent from the start and completed the course a long time ago. I look back on it and say wow, all it took was dedication and a few students who were able to help me out a little. That good start was all I needed, so I took it and ran with it. I have.
