For Matt, I see his future very happy and bright. I see him marrying Kate de Vries and them being very rich thanks to the hold they found in the ship. I can also see Matt graduating from the airship academy and Matt getting his own ship. With Matt's ship, I think he will pilot it and hire his own crew. In the future, Kate de Vries will open her own museum with all the amazing new species she discovered aboard the Hyperion and in the air during her journey to the Hyperion.
