Facebook is traditionally seen as a website that allows users to upload their own content. Likewise, although it leaves space for advertisers, they are also responsible for their own content. The problem arises: if Facebook allows certain types of content, it facilitates certain reactions. This is something Facebook and other websites need to consider when posting ads. Although Facebook is just a portal through which people can post different content, there must be some accountability that they host the content on their servers and make it available to everyone.
