    Everyone in the world has to work to earn money. We can see that there are different jobs that have different relationships between employers and their employees. Most workers believe that work should bring some necessary pacification. Managers believed that workers worked only to make money. In fact, workers need a good workplace where they feel comfortable. Managers also need to motivate their employees in several ways. This essay will discuss what workers consider important in a job and what managers can do to motivate the workplace. There are certain factors that workers consider important in a job. The first factor is that the work must be interesting work. The majority of workers prefer to have a pleasant job. For example, Phillips (2008) stated that sixty-seven percent of women and fifty-nine percent of men prefer that exciting work is necessary for them. The second factor is that workers prefer jobs that are worthwhile. Most people like to work thinking that when they retire, they will have something useful to help them in their future life.
