Essay / Importance of Class Placement and Class Observation
Dancers will remain in a class level until the skills taught in their current level are mastered. The promotion will usually take place at the end of a dance season, but it can take place at any time during the dance year. New students can request an appointment with the director to assess their skills and find the best class for the dancer. Parents are asked to refrain from “peeking” into classes, especially in the case of younger students. We offer parents the opportunity to observe lessons during Observation Week. A conference with the teacher and principal may be arranged if the parent has concerns about your child's progress. Make-up Classes NO credits or refunds for missed classes. Make-up classes are the responsibility of the student. No call, no presentation can be made up. Students should call the studio at (321) 209-0173 to notify their instructor if they will miss class. You must make up any missed classes within two weeks of the absence. No catch-up will be available after March 1st. If you exceed 6 absences, the catch-up will not be carried out.
