#1: 1715I'm going to college in a few months and I'm not sure what to expect from college since I'm so young; however, I know that my family will support and encourage me. My father seems particularly eager for my upcoming university entrance, probably because I am his only son out of eleven children. My father and grandfather are both pastors and I feel they want me to continue the pastoral tradition in the family (Hammond). Today I felt the need to reflect on my family and my childhood years. My mother, who is very intelligent, led me to love and appreciate books. I remember as a young child, I preferred reading books, writing and learning other languages to playing with other children. It seemed like the only time I spent with other kids was when I built forts in the forest so we could have prayer meetings (Hammond). Even though some of my friends think I'm dull and boring, I feel that at twelve years old I'm ready to take on whatever God has in store for me.#2: 1716Today was my first day of college at Yale Collegiate School. . I am convinced that I will succeed even if I am not yet thirteen years old. Although my father was very busy with his role as pastor of East Windsor Church, he found time to help me prepare for college. I feel a bit under pressure being the only son of 11 children; however, I want my father to be proud of me ("Cengage Learning").#3:1720I'm happy to say that I graduated after four years of hard work...... middle of paper. ... ..12.
