    A Beast of FrankensteinIn the story “Frankenstein” written by Mary Shelley, it is about a young Swiss boy, who grew up in Geneva and loves reading the works of ancients and outdated alchemists. Frankenstein later attended university in Ingolstadt. There, Frankenstein discovers modern science in which he masters everything his teachers taught him. Frankenstein indeed becomes fascinated by the secret of life. Victor discovers the secret of life and creates a big, ugly, scary monster. Shelley explains how Frankenstein creates the monster with old body parts from the dead. The monster comes into life in this world at a height of eight feet and extremely strong but with the mind of a newborn. Victor keeps his creation of the monster a secret from everyone, including his future fiancée, Elizabeth Lavenza. As time passed, Frankenstein felt guilty and ashamed. Victor can't believe what he did and abandons the monster because he is confused. The monster tries to integrate into society but only to be beaten and not wanted by the people. Victor Frankenstein is the true monster in Mary Shelley's novel Frankenstein, because only God can create life, cause death, and judge. In the novel Frankenstein, Victor Frankenstein is the real offender and the real monster of this story. It was surprising how much intelligence he had to acquire and apply the knowledge and skills needed to create life with the power of science. Frankenstein should not have done this because it is illegal to do something that only the lord can create, which is life. Life can only be given by God, it is He who can invent life. Frankenstein had done an experiment which he did not expect to succeed but I...... middle of paper ...... as a result he was unable to save Justine from death . Instead, he remained silent in order to save his own freedom. In conclusion, the monster is not the real beast. She was a victim who was not at fault. The creator tried to fit into society but people only judged the monster by his appearance without even trying to look inside. The creature was no saint either, Victor is the true monster of this novel due to his actions. His love for science and the discovery of the secret of life made him blind. Little did he know that creating a monster would destroy him and his surroundings. After everything that has happened, Victor finally breaks his secret and tries to convince a Geneva magistrate but does not believe him. Victor finally dedicates his life to destroying the monster. He should have left the creation of life to God and let everything return to its natural nature..
