According to studies, there is a certain area in the brain called the superior temporal gyrus, which plays a key role in the type of music a person likes to listen. For example, if a person has listened to classical music all their life, the temporal gyrus will be accustomed to this genre, and thus classical music will have a positive impact on the brain and mood. It is therefore implied that a person with unstable or unstable musical taste will experience a lesser sense of euphoria or other symptoms explained above. By listening to your familiar favorite music, you might be happier and more uplifted, rather than negatively and slowly listening to someone else's music that you don't know (Levitin). The same study also reveals that listening to music you love can in turn help you make positive decisions.
