The nurses at this agency have been very kind and helpful to the students because they want us all to succeed. In the first two programs I was in, one thing I noticed was that each nurse had a large workload that they said was really difficult to manage. I would suggest that they hire more nurses to improve the delivery of nursing care to children and their families. With sufficient staff and equitable workload distribution, nurses can accurately supervise children, assess their needs, and direct them to appropriate resources.
