Introduction:I went to the emergency room with my brother who had injured his hand during a football game at this school. I was tense, blood was oozing vigorously and he was crying in pain. In such a state, when I entered the emergency department, I was shocked to find that there was a long queue outside the door. Patients were queuing to be treated by emergency services. At first, I thought maybe I had confused the OPD department with the emergency room due to the tension. To add to my shock and surprise, the attendant at the counter told me I was in the emergency room. The situation immediately informed me that the demand for emergency services in Australia was beyond the capacity of the service provider. So, I had no other way than to wait my turn and receive medication. Finally, after almost an hour, my brother received help and was relieved of the creeping pain. Thesis Statement The inhumane experience I had with my brother in the city hospital inspired me to speak out against the country's healthcare system. . The growing demand for emergency services has hardly affected service providers. With the increase in population, the government should increase the number of hospitals or increase the number of staff in a hospital so that patients in distress do not have to wait. A heart patient or accident victim has very little time to survive if he or she does not receive the medication immediately. The role of the emergency nurse is to immediately attend to the patient and save their life.
