Essay / Marketing Mix For Home Business - 755
SummaryThe purpose of this article is to explain the four elements of the marketing mix which are: product, place, price and promotion. I will also implement each element with the company's marketing strategies. The organization I will be using is Sandy's Day Care. In my organization, I had child care services ranging from newborn to eleven years old. Opening hours varied from 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and Saturday only on request. I will explain the marketing strategies that have been applied in my home business and have been successful for over five years, with an income of six thousand dollars per month. Marketing 3Marketing Mix PaperThe first strategy is that the product develops the right good or service for the company's customers, including package configuration, business name and contract with educational support. The proven service is quality childcare with an experienced provider and extensive early years training. The daycare will provide two healthy meals per day and two snacks at no additional cost. These are recommended and approved by the Department of Health and Nutrition. The daycare also offered classroom-based preschool education. Children also benefited from school field trips or day trips at least twice a month. Other activities are offered such as swimming and dancing but only at the parents' expense. After-school programs are available, with homework help and a snack. All services provided are clearly stated in the daycare package for clients to review, this includes contracts, rules and all forms needed to be eligible for the program. The second strategy is location which is very important because of location. My daycare was off the highway and on the way to downtown San Diego and the 32nd Naval Base. The naval base was a vital part of my business because all of my clients were in the Navy. My location was only 15 minutes from the base and downtown. My daycare was at my home; so it was very clean and there was a warm, family atmosphere for the children. I had a large garden with lots of toys and activities for the children. All meals were home cooked and very healthy. Price being the third strategy, it was full-time or part-time daycare. At the time, full-time was $70.
