Vietnam was under the control of France from the 17th century until the aspiring and aggressive. Ho Chi Minh began his action to make Vietnam independent. Ho Chi Minh traveled to different countries to communicate and fight for his country. After countless difficulties, Ho Chi Minh, through his tireless efforts, successfully achieved independence and liberated Vietnam. The Asian nation of Vietnam has had a troubled past. The main themes of Vietnam's history concern colonization and fighting. Vietnam was controlled by China for a thousand years until Vietnam began contact with Europe in the 16th century. The main link between Europeans and Vietnam was trade, but European nations did not allow their partnerships with the Vietnamese to develop equally. Instead, colonialism was practiced and the French began their actions to control Vietnam. By 1862, the French had conquered the Mekong Delta region and forced the Vietnamese Emperor Tu Duc to sign the Treaty of Saigon. Under the terms of this agreement, Tu Doc ceded control of much of southern Vietnam to France. The French government renamed this area Cochinchina and implemented programs intended to benefit French businesses and churches in the region. This event marks the beginning of the era of French colonialism in Vietnam. In the mid-19th century, during the French armed invasion of Indochina, until the 1980s, the French established colonial rule over the entire territory of Vietnam. French colonial activities, on the one hand, led to the collapse of the traditional feudal order of Vietnam, and on the other hand promoted the development of modern economic relations, political composition and modern ideology .
