Muhammad Ali (Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr.) is without a doubt the most famous, talented and greatest athlete and heavyweight boxer of all time. Muhammad Ali inspired millions of people around the world with his powerful and inspiring personality. For this assignment, I selected two different photos of Muhammad Ali, one color photo and one black and white photo, published in two different newspapers at different times. Even though the two photos were taken in different times and situations, both photos show Muhammad Ali's strong and dynamic body language. The first photo was taken on April 28, 1967, when Muhammad Ali was reported to Houston for refusing directions from the military. In 1967, during the Vietnam War, Muhammad Ali was drafted into the United States Armed Forces but he refused to enlist. Muhammad Ali's refusal to serve in the Vietnam War led to his prosecution by the government and he was sentenced to five years in prison and fined $10,000. He was also stripped of his world title and banned from fighting in the United States. This is a very powerful image....
