Mars, the planet once home to the Doctor's nemesis, the Ice Warrior, is now on its way to becoming the refuge of humans. Mars, the fourth planet far from the Sun, the second smallest planet in the solar system is known for its similarities to Earth. Immigration to an alien planet is no longer a cliché subject for science fiction but has gradually become a serious scientific subject and project. Among the reasons explaining the wave of immigration to Mars, environmental problems stand out. Just as Christian Parenti pointed out in his book Tropic of Chaos, the environmental problem, particularly climate change, is happening faster than expected. The growing number of extreme weather events suggests that disruptive climate change is inevitable, even as we begin to stop emitting greenhouse gases. Even as climate change collides with today's political and economic problems, it forms a terrible set of catastrophes that Parenti called catastrophic convergence. Population growth, food security and food scarcity, water pollution, urbanization and land scarcity are all contributing to this catastrophic convergence. Parenti argued that such problems do not just add up, but rather compound and compound each other, in a way that one problem expresses itself through another. In his book, Parenti suggested solving these problems through technological and policy mitigation and adaptation. He argued that by transforming humanity's relationship with nature and with itself, the environment more significantly alters catastrophic convergence. Parenti, as sociology, provides its solution to these problems.
