Daniel was saved by God, so it is difficult to call it suffering, but nevertheless we see that God used this situation to show his power to King Darius and his nation – “I have issued a decree that, in every part of my kingdom people must fear. and respect the God of Daniel. For he is the living God and endures forever; his kingdom will not be destroyed, his dominion will never end. He saves and he saves; he performs signs and wonders in heaven and on earth. He delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
