    Over time, information has been the most valuable tool humanity has. Over the past few decades, the Internet has radically changed the face of the planet. This has provided us with new, more efficient ways of obtaining information. It provides instant access to libraries full of information and hundreds of pages of differing opinions on current events. Moreover, it radically changed the way the market functions. However, using the Internet carries certain risks. One of the most significant changes brought about by the invention of the Internet is the near-instantaneous access to information. In its most fundamental sense, everything that happens on the Internet is a transfer of information; that's basically the main purpose of the Internet. Before the advent of the Internet, information came mainly from books. The main method of obtaining information was through research in libraries. Libraries offered, and still offer today, a vast collection of encyclopedias and hundreds, if not thousands, of books covering a wide variety of subjects. People would go to their local libraries and then do all their research there or check out books to take home. The only other source of information people could rely on were the books and encyclopedias they personally owned. As Internet companies began to grow rapidly, they began to collect information from the Internet. Search engines such as Google were created to help organize and locate this information. Now, when it comes to finding information, you have some easy-to-use resources. First, you can access Wikipedia, which is a community-run online encyclopedia. There people contribute their wealth of knowledge and information middle of paper......to me whether or not someone will be able to find and purchase your item. This means that instead of local competition, everyone is competing with everyone else to sell their items, which, in turn, hurts local businesses and our economy in general. Obviously, the advent of the Internet has radically changed the face of the market. From allowing people to freely share their ideas and information to browsing markets around the world, the Internet has truly transformed our lives. While many view the advent of the Internet as a blessing, harsh realities can be seen now that everyone is connected to each other. These sad truths can range from a simple difference of opinion to the use of the Internet as a tool to commit acts of terrorism. However, as humanity evolves, so will our ability to solve these problems and better use the Internet...
