    Self-directed research produced a very interesting code for me when completed and the codes were Social, Investigative, and Conventional (SIC). The RIASEC hexagon breaks down these codes and gives a description of each code. The way these codes are explained in one sense doesn't sit well with me and yet in other ways they are me. I agree with the social code because I like helping people and interacting with others. The investigation code according to explanation is that of solving mathematical and scientific problems (Reardon, Lenz, Peterson & Sampson, 2012). I agree with the science aspect of coding, but math is not one of my favorite activities. The same can be said for conventional coding as I'm organized but again I'm not a fan of math or numbers. For the most part, I agree with the codes and how they represent me, however, I do not agree with the entire definition of each code and how they represent me.
