  • Essay / Industrial Disputes Case Study - 1700

The judgment given by the industrial court was biased from the company's point of view and not from the point of view of an employee. The judgment that was made could affect current employees in several ways: it could have demotivated other employees to work, workers could feel insecure in their jobs, and employees could also feel worthless. Employees may feel unmotivated to work because they will begin to worry if they are injured anyway and unable to perform their jobs effectively. The company will also board them for medical reasons; and due to this, employees may feel demotivated and the company's production may also drop. Not only will employees who might feel insecure about their own jobs start looking for other jobs at other companies because they feel that employees at the current company won't like them if they aren't in able to carry out their work, just in case they are involved in accidents that could affect their work. Because for all these reasons, the company could also be seriously affected if its employees started to react badly after the decision of the judgment handed down by the labor court.
