    Our world is constantly changing and people are constantly faced with many new experiences. Throughout society there are many different people and different opinions. One issue that sparks many different opinions is that of homosexuality. Depending on what a person believes or how much they accept it, they will think about their opinion on that topic. In a constantly changing world, we have very ancient styles of thinking and more modern opinions. This essay will show how homosexuals are sometimes looked down upon in society (with older opinions) and how the world is changing. Even though the world is constantly changing and new opinions are being formed, the oldest and most negative opinions persist. Often a gay person is made fun of or, as statistics show, those who are gay are belittled. These young children have learned to judge and hurt those who are “different.” These older views on the matter lead to drastic things like suicide because those who love the same sex don't follow the "norm." Homosexuals are also looked down upon across the religions of Catholicism and Islam. It is well known that same-sex marriage and homosexuality are not really allowed in the Catholic religion. According to the Holy Scriptures, homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered (Vatican “You shall love your neighbor”). He represents homosexuality as a broken person and there is no cure for what happened to him. But currently the Church is willing to accept homosexuals who wish to remain chaste and follow this part of the religion. Although the Church accepts chaste homosexuals, it does not want to change its mind on same-sex marriage. The Vatican constantly speaks of “marriage between man and woman” (Vatican “You shall love your neighbor”). This then implies that marriage can only take place between a man and a woman (and not between those of the same
