They want to make each other enjoyable by engaging in activities that match each other's interests, such as attending a party, doing community service, or going to the gym together. However, this type of friendship is also short-lived, because the topics or objects that make us feel pleasant are constantly changing. After adolescence, you may no longer think that attending a party or going to the gym is enjoyable. Instead, you might feel more comfortable doing other things, like exploring the countryside. “As a result, they quickly become friends and quickly call it quits; for their friendship evolves with what they find pleasant, and the change in such pleasure is rapid” (Aristotle, p.122). Thus, friendship based on pleasure is short-lived and can only bring happiness for a while.
