  • Essay / Contemporary value of religion as seen by Kearlee...

Religion, which influences and arises from human beliefs about the relationships between supernatural and natural features of reality, should be integrated effortlessly into life of his supporters. This should help morally structure the person's life without overwhelming them or teaching that everyone must have the same beliefs, and instead inspire them to accept other cultures without imposing their practice on the lives of others. Similar to Buddhism, the ideal religion should help people elevate themselves and others, supporting their various core beliefs and encouraging the pursuit of knowledge, which we humans do naturally. Religion should not lead people to believe that their religion is the one and only truth in the universe, but rather encourage the acceptance of different beliefs and cultures, thereby allowing them to thrive alongside each other. The place of many religions in the daily lives of modern people has declined significantly. Just as the old pagan religions were replaced by the newer religions, these religions are now being replaced by science, the denominations of the original religions and material property. As the years go by, each religion faces a growing number of smaller, more personalized religions, which deviate from the original to accommodate changes in people's lives. Every religion has divergent faiths, whose beliefs increasingly differ from the original as people demand more convenience in their lives. Spirituality wanes and rises in a confusing and impulsive way. Many people completely forget about it because they are too busy just trying to survive in this money-crazed world. However, those with higher income have more luxuries...... middle of paper...... out of fear or threat. Of course, most people believe that they are better than “those weirdos” or that their war is justified. That not everyone simply knows that their beliefs are wrong and need to be brought to the right path, because there is simply no way they can be wrong. This realization is just too scary.
