    SummaryThe well-being of a community is in the hands of its citizens. Together, individuals can make a difference in their current situation and their future development. As a librarian at the public library, it is important to be aware of the different demographics of the community you serve. One aspect that I think is missing in the community is the development of local children, especially adolescents. The following report has been developed with the aim of communicating the potential of an awareness program, “Tomorrow's Children”, to enhance the professional growth of the future generation. The plans, implementation and promotion of the program have been defined with a view to solving the problems of the local community.IntroductionCommunity growth is an important aspect of human growth and development. This is a long-term investment that requires the participation of both community members and stakeholders such as the government administrator at large. Although there are many social activities, programs, and projects that can be developed to contribute to community growth (Kelly, 2004), none have a longer lasting impact than the development of intellectual growth. According to researchers, intellectual development can have a great influence on the current and future growth of the community (Vobora, 2008; Hage, 2004). This is why developed countries around the world are emphasizing investment in community development, growth programs and progress initiatives. In the United States of America, although the government has developed many national programs to improve the intellectual pipeline, these initiatives must be carried out at the local community level.
