    The appropriation and monetary gain that the United States received from the production and distribution of Samba music, it is clear that the United States was wrong. No matter how much the creators of the word Samba deny that the word was not created to cover up and disenfranchise the style of music he continues to make. Certainly, this musical style became an international sensation, but it did not give Cubans the credit it deserved. The United States did the easy part by slightly differentiating it from Cuban salsa by adding Jazz, Funk or R&B. There have certainly been many controversies surrounding music genre from a political, cultural, and economic perspective. It's great to see that after the Cold War thawed and diplomatic and cultural ties strengthened, countries and their artists finally began to stabilize, mingle, and give Cuba the credit it deserved. In the end, it happened as planned, but that doesn't stop us from remembering the darkness
