When is it considered acceptable to take away someone's rights? A person cannot be defined by a single word. Homosexual is just a word. Television and movies have not perfectly represented all Americans since their beginnings. Having two moms or two dads isn't the worst thing that can happen. A child who grows up with two dads or two moms will believe that this is normal. According to many cultures and religions, being gay is wrong and doesn't really exist. Homosexuals are rejected by followers of these faiths. LGBT teens are more likely to think about or attempt suicide because they face bullies at school, work, and other public places. The issue of gay rights was similar to that of women's rights in the 1920s. Homosexuals are no different from heterosexuals. Marriage is a subject of daydreaming for many young girls and even for some boys. Russia recently passed laws that make gay rights non-existent. Nothing can change an LGBT man or woman. When describing a person's personality, more than one word or phrase comes to mind. This is because the human mind and personality are more complex than a single word or even a single sentence. Sure, one word may stand out more than others in a person's mind, but that doesn't mean it's the only word that describes that person. An LGBT man or woman is much more than their sexuality. Only a series of several words or expressions can be used to partially describe a person. “Homosexual” is the only word that can apply to a person. Gay rights should not be an issue because taking away gay rights is the same as taking away human rights.
