Essay / An unforgettable adventure - 1983
“Monsieur Klemen… Monsieur Klemen,” repeats a very familiar voice to my ears. All but one of my senses are numb; however I try to open my eyes to see what is happening to me. The last thing I remember is a long iron bar hitting my head from the front. Since then, I have heard this voice which has a slight Cuban accent. In a short time, I am able to come to my senses and open my eyes. An intense beam of light blinds me and prevents me from seeing my surroundings. It only takes me a few seconds to realize that I'm tied to a chair with metal chains around my wrists and ankles. These chains give me an uncomfortable feeling about what is going to happen. Looking down to the left, I see a small black sphere that looks like a rubber bullet used in firearms to stun victims. The legs and lots of them caught my attention and made me react by looking up. "Good job Matt, you did perfectly until the moment you got shot. Well, I guess not everyone is perfect, so I'll let you do the undercover agent job ", laughed a man with a brown coat covering his burly body, "Doctor, please give him the antidote for memory loss, I want" The doctor injects me with a serum and says, "Don't don’t worry Matt, once you wake up you will feel better again and remember everything again” In total confusion my eyelids felt like a heavy curtain and closed within seconds...
