Essay / Analysis of Cybersex - 660
I discussed in the first essay answer that for me, sex would be defined as penetration of the penis into the vagina, which does not necessarily have to be motivated by procreation. Furthermore, pleasure stimuli would be a key element, just like orgasm, but they would not define sex. Additionally, cybersex is defined in the Cybersex reading as “erotic and sexual pleasure experienced through cybernetic technologies and communication,” as well as “all sexual activities and experiences encountered in cyberspace.” (Stenslie 303) Cybersex has depersonalized and desensitized sexual relationships between real people offline, because cybersex is linked to the technology involved in the cyber world. Copious amounts ...... middle of paper ...... to feel like this operating device has emotions and becomes enamored with the system. He is obsessed, detached from those close to him, and wants to maintain a relationship with the operating system as if it were a real person offline. The main point of this film relates to why cybersex cuts off real-world interactions between real people offline by questioning how the existence of artificial intelligence in human society might affect this Company. In conclusion, cybersex gives a seductive and sexy freedom to do several things with one's imagination. , body and creativity. An example of this freedom given in New Sexuality is "to experiment with the surfaces and depths of one's desires and fantasies." (Waskul 370) This freedom shows how people desire cybersex more than bodily intimate sex and how they easily desensitize and depersonalize their real offline relationships..
