Essay / Teens Should Play Violent Video Games - 1342
The key aspect of this debate is whether or not teens should play violent video games or RPGs. Some people get distracted by the idea of violence in the game. Then, out of spite, think that it's mostly violence and nothing good can come of it. How one-sided can this be? It is an extremely limited view of life and has the potential to completely unbalance, confuse and make the individual feel helpless and powerless in situations where life is in danger or survival is at risk. I strongly believe in realism and we live in a time where terrorism has become endemic in different parts of the world and even America where we live is no longer safe. America is also impacted daily by increasing gun violence. Video games showing violence develop the instinct to adapt to such a possibility hitting you and also prepare you to think about the options and choices available or create if they are not available to survive. This does not mean, however, that one should engage in violence, because if that were the case, no self-defense program in existence today would ever work. Infact programs like karate, kung fu, etc. strengthen you physically and mentally and allow you to judge better in times of crisis. Thus, I strongly believe and support adolescents playing violent video games because it helps improve vision, increases the ability to strategize and plan, helps to be psychologically better prepared for psychological cases and that they do not cause mass shootings. For my first reason, it's about vision and how people are always wrong. There is a common phrase that most people believe to be true: “too much screen time can make your eyesight worse.” Based on the Ted Talk video, "Your Brain on Video Games" by Daphne Bave...... middle of article ......urt in 2011 about a similar issue including we chat.On Monday, June 27, In 2011, the Supreme Court ruled in Brown v. Entertainment. The decision was a rule that states cannot restrict the sale or rental of video games to minors, a decision that strengthens First Amendment protections for interactive games and children's free expression rights. So, to summarize, teenagers should be able to play violent/action video games. and RPGs, that they improve your vision, your ability to strategize, help you psychologically and will not turn you into a mass shooter. Logically speaking, based on the evidence I have provided to you that action video games have affected your child's future, a good one. As in all cases, the extreme is wrong and therefore a balance is necessary. With this balance in place, life can be better enjoyed and better prepared..
