Essay / Automation and Automation - 1063
Automation is the use of machines to operate and control various types of work and equipment. Automation is not a new concept. In fact, its history dates back to the 1780s, when it was a flour mill. However, automation was not popularized until the 1930s, when automobile factories began using machines in order to obtain information about the durability of their cars. Today, automation can take many forms, including mechanical, electronic and computer-based. Automation is at the heart of modern transportation and can be found in almost all modes of transportation. However, automation has caused a lot of controversy. Employees struggle to find their internal happiness, especially when they wonder if they still bring value to their company. Another controversy is whether a single machine could replace 12 humans and do their jobs more efficiently. Many argue that automation is the cause of unemployment. However, automation has created new jobs and industries and, with care, it can generate massive profits and save many lives. On the other hand, automation still has negative consequences despite its benefits. However, these consequences can be easily resolved. When you look at the growing unemployment rate, automation is usually what people blame for what's wrong with the world, given that it's an industry where machines can do what machines can do. men cannot do it more quickly and efficiently. Nevertheless, automation is a rich industry that has created new jobs and new markets around the world. Markets like steel, automotive, and aluminum are industries that, through automation, have opened thousands of doors and job opportunities. It is true that today's machines can do what a group of men can do in record time...... middle of paper ... and prepare them for the new demands of industry . Other solutions may include offering them medical coverage. Long-term health care benefits and access to low-cost higher education. Finally, automation is the future and machines will soon replace more and more tasks and people and there is no way to stop it. We can live in constant fear that one day robots will go crazy and rule the world and be afraid of the future and continue to blame machines for our mistakes or we can learn to control these machines for our needs. After all, machines can only benefit or harm us if we humans let them. On the other hand, we must keep in mind that no matter how many machines are produced and no matter how many employees are replaced or will be replaced through automation, a machine will never replace what we humans , can give. Hope, love and kindness..
