Just no to an unhealthy lifestyle. To live a long life, it is important to adopt a healthy lifestyle. Eating well is obviously an essential element in this regard. Another important part is exercise. There are many different opinions on what types of foods a person should eat or how much they should eat daily. This article will discuss how the average person should eat and exercise to be healthy. Eating healthy is much easier than you might think. What some people try to do is change their entire eating habits in just one day. This is what makes eating better so difficult. Switching from eating mostly junk food to eating healthy foods overnight will make some people want to give up after a week. When trying to start a healthier diet, you need to take smaller steps. For example, we could switch from whole milk to 1% milk or even skim milk before taking drastic measures to eat better. A person does not have to completely remove all bad foods from their diet. The important thing to remember when eating anything is how much you eat. Portion control can make it easier to cut down on foods that are bad for someone. Eating a smaller portion of something than usual is a small step you can take toward a healthier diet. When trying to eat healthily, a person needs to focus on the types of foods they eat. You should try to include all food groups daily. Throughout the day, when someone eats a meal, half of their plate should be fruits and vegetables. A fruit would be something like an apple, banana, orange, or any other type of berry. A vegetable would be something like a carrot, celery, broccoli, or kale. The other half of his plate should be a quarter healthy protein and a quarter whole grains... in the middle of a piece of paper... like we do it for ourselves, it's so important. Not only does it make you feel better and improve your confidence, but it is also very beneficial for the body.Works Cited1. “Aptitude.” Exercise: 7 benefits of regular physical activity.
