The US federal government's support for space exploration is NOT the most effective way to engage in scientific discovery. Space exploration dates back to the European Renaissance era, a historical era when arts and cultural transformation began. This was the same time when there was a gradual but widespread transition in educational reforms. Since then, the flourishing art and science of stars and planets has evolved into the minute details of comets and meteors. The study, which began with the fundamental physical laws governing the movements of the planets around the sun, provided insight not only into our planet Earth, but also into the millions of galaxies that exist in the world beyond us. have been made in this regard, there is still much to be revealed. The question is, is it worth investing in space exploration or is it just a waste of taxpayers' money? The goal is to answer this question by providing enough evidence to support the U.S. federal government's space exploration program. This article will focus on the many reasons why U.S. federal government support for space exploration is not the most effective way to engage in scientific discovery. We intend to prove that there are other, more effective ways to engage in scientific discovery rather than space exploration. Through analyzing the arguments for and against this cause, towards the end I will give a conclusion not based on my own opinions but on the authenticity and credibility of the arguments.
