In order to understand current lifestyles related to the different approaches and tactics applied by humans in partner choice preferences, it is necessary to refer to the evolutionary perspectives of Darwin (1859, 1871). According to Darwin (1871), sexual selection is the driving force in the reproductive quest of men and women for the survival of their genes. These driving forces have been classified into two categories: intrasexual and intersexual mate selection. Intersexual selection is a process of male sexual selection by which men compete with other men and women choose the strongest as their ideal partner. Intrasexual selection occurs when male species fight among themselves and the stronger ones gain access to females for more pleasure.
